  • Yes is definitely worth it, a well positioned system can produce a useful amount of electricity.

  • December & January produces the least electricity, panels will generate electricity on cloudy days, on. Bright winters day they can produce surprisingly well, for a few hours around midday.

  • The solar panels we fit typically last 25-30 years

  • Yes, you can charge the battery from the electricity grid, usually when electricity is cheaper, then use that stored electricity when prices are higher.

  • No in the main, unless the property is listed or in a conservation area.

  • Typically solar panels 10 years minimum, inverter 5 years minimum.
